In the latest edition of the show Business Objective on Telma TV, the Economic Chamber—AN IRREPLACEABLE PARTNER TO BUSINESS—presented an overview of several key activities that marked the past week:

• Toni Jankovski, MSc, on BUSINESS CLUB – Infrastructure is the lifeline of the state, and practical training is the foundation for creating skilled labor.
•  With the Ambassador of Switzerland to the RNM, H.E. Christoph Sommer, President Azeski requested support for addressing three key areas:

1.     Corruption

2.     The grey economy

3.     The judiciary

•  Business Forum for advancing trade, investment, and economic cooperation between Switzerland and North Macedonia

-        Azeski: “We will strive to involve the Macedonian community present in Switzerland in order to raise the level of trade—which currently stands at around USD 200 million—to increase exports and create conditions for new partnerships and investments.”

-        Sommer: “Companies today seek stable and reliable partners. Our two countries offer exactly those values. Switzerland is ready to support this closer cooperation—to help turn potential into concrete partnerships and prosperity for citizens.”

• ·The Growth Plan for the Western Balkans and the National Reform Agenda – Why Are They Important for the Business Sector?

-        President Azeski’s message: On the path toward the EU—a path supported by the business community and where exports are dominantly oriented—it is essential that infrastructure and judiciary issues remain at the top of the agenda, if we want the Growth Plan to have a positive impact for the country and the Western Balkans region as a whole.

-        Panel Discussion featuring: Stefan Andonovski, Minister for Digital Transformation; Dragan Tilev, Advisor to the Minister for European Affairs and Cabinet Member; Gligor Cvetanov, Club Europe, Economic Chamber; Stefan Ristovski, Researcher, European Policy Institute (EPI) – Skopje.
