The President of the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ioannis Bratakos, sent a letter to the President of the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia, Branko Azeski, expressing gratitude for the hospitality and support provided to the members of the Greek business delegation during their visit to Macedonia on 6 November. The visit took place within the framework of the business forum and bilateral meetings between the two countries, focused on investments and opportunities for business cooperation.

In the letter received from the President of the Athens Chamber, Bratakos wrote:

“The Delegation members were highly impressed by the excellent organization and very satisfied with the productive meetings, which contributed significantly to the overall success of the mission.

The Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry looks forward to continuing its close and constructive cooperation with your esteemed Chamber, with the aim of further strengthening the economic ties between our countries.”

The business forum and bilateral meetings, which brought together more than sixty companies from both countries, provided an opportunity to present investment prospects and cooperation possibilities through networking and establishing contacts. The event was jointly organized by the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia, the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Embassy of the Hellenic Republic, and the Association of Greek Exporters.

At the event held on 6 November 2025, President Branko Azeski underlined that trade cooperation with Greece—“the driving force of the Balkan economy”—is crucial, as it is essential for our country to have an EU member state as a strategic partner in the context of the country’s EU integration process.
