Addressing more than 20 member companies in attendance, the Vice President of the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia, Dr. Jelisaveta Georgieva-Jovevska, expressed unequivocal support for the Kichevo Regional Chamber, emphasizing the goal of strengthening regional-level activities in the coming period. She highlighted the Chamber’s key priorities: stepped-up monitoring and engagement related to the implementation of national infrastructure projects, support for domestic companies and for the export sector, as well as support in developing a workforce aligned with the needs of the business community.

During the session, members unanimously elected Goran Petreski of TIM Engineering, Kichevo, as President of the Regional Chamber for the upcoming term. Likewise, Alija Zulbearoski of Eurofix, Kichevo, and Urim Djaferi of Balji Komerc, Kichevo, were unanimously elected as Vice Presidents. Together with the newly constituted Management Board, their mandate in the period ahead will be to define operational priorities and, with the support of the institutions—primarily the Economic Chamber and the Municipality of Kichevo—deliver on the planned events, trainings, trade fair activities and support initiatives for companies in the region.

On her own behalf, on behalf of the Economic Chamber, and on behalf of the President of the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia, Branko Azeski, Dr. Georgieva-Jovevska presented Certificates of Recognition for significant contribution, selfless engagement and advancement of the Chamber’s activities to the outgoing President of the Regional Chamber, Igor Sokoleski, and to the outgoing Vice President, Alija Zulbearoski.

The Vice President extended particular gratitude for the extensive support that the Municipality of Kichevo has provided to the Regional Chamber over the years in achieving its strategic objectives. It was agreed that, following the New Year holidays, a meeting will be held with the Mayor of Kichevo, and that the first item on the agenda at the January 2026 session of the Regional Chamber will focus on education.
