Serafimovski received renewed trust from the Association’s members in recognition of his commitment to the development of the construction sector and his dedicated engagement and contribution to the Chamber’s work

 The Association of Construction, Building Materials and Non-metal Industries within the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia held its regular session, where members discussed the key challenges and opportunities in the sector, as well as the directions for its further development.

At the session, Andrea Serafimovski, member of the Management Board of GD Granit AD Skopje, was re-elected as President of the Management Board and President of the Association. His re-election represents recognition of his expertise, business commitment, and continuous efforts to advance the construction sector, which plays a significant role in the country’s economic growth and infrastructure development.

The Association reaffirmed its commitment to continue working in the interest of its member companies and the industry as a whole by monitoring market conditions, improving legislative frameworks, and creating the necessary preconditions for a predictable, stable, and stimulating business environment. In this regard, the Association will continue its active cooperation with the competent institutions, professional organizations, and other relevant stakeholders to shape policies that will ensure sustainable growth and development of the sector.

Within the established priorities, the Association’s future activities will place particular emphasis on improving public procurement and investment procedures, enhancing technical and safety standards in construction, encouraging innovation and modernization in production and construction practices, and promoting sustainable and energy-efficient solutions.

The Association remains committed to its mission of contributing to the development of a strong, competitive, and modern construction sector, one that represents a pillar of economic and societal progress.

At the session of the Construction Association, Dr. Jelisaveta Georgieva-Jovevska, Infrastructure and Economic Development Advisor to the President—and a member of the Coordinative Body for Advancing the Construction Sector alongside Serafimovski, major construction companies from Macedonia, and senior representatives from the Office of the President of the Government of the Republic of the RNM—presented, on behalf of the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia and on behalf of the Chamber President Branko Azeski, an Award of Recognition to Andrea Serafimovski for his significant contribution, dedicated effort, and progress achieved in his role as President of the Construction Association within the Economic Chamber.
