“One Stop Digital” Business Platform for Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises and Working Meeting with the RNM Customs Administration

16/06/2025

The Center for Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises at the Economic Chamber today promoted the digital platform “ONE STOP DIGITAL,” intended for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), which through a mobile application will have fast and easy access to all Chamber services in the interest of improving the business environment.

The “One Stop Digital” center is a platform, or rather a tool, supported and enabled by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The idea emerged from the identified need of companies to have all relevant information incorporated in one place—easily accessible via a web platform and mobile app. It will serve as a tool for simple communication and connectivity, enabling both the provision and exchange of information.
Focusing on MSMEs means fostering economic development, sustainability, and innovation. That is why, as a Chamber, we are working to provide greater support and focus on better and faster ways to bring these companies closer to the necessary information and to involve them more actively in all relevant processes.
The event was opened by Gabriela Kulebanova, President of the Center for Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, who emphasized that the digital platform for MSMEs was developed with the support of the EBRD and will be accessible exclusively to member companies through a dedicated login username and password.
In her address to the companies, she noted that this group of enterprises—dominant in number and employment in any economy—plays a significant role. These are the fastest-growing businesses, employing a large number of people. However, since they often do not have large teams, they frequently face challenges in being physically present at business events and, even more so, in keeping up with daily developments by visiting the Chamber’s website. That is why, through this mobile application, the Chamber and its MSME Center are getting closer to the companies, enabling them to access various types of business-related information quickly and easily.
In cooperation with the Center for MSME Support at the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development backed a project for the implementation of a digital platform where small and medium-sized enterprises can access daily information essential to their operations, growth, and development. Sonja Ingilizova from the EBRD stated that digitalization is a priority for the Bank, and this collaboration is fully aligned with its strategic objectives.
Ilija Serafimov, through the company “Serafimov Group” and with the financial support of the EBRD, developed the platform. During a presentation, he introduced attending companies to the platform’s content and functionality.

The second part of the event consisted of a working meeting with the Director of the Customs Administration of the Republic of North Macedonia, Boban Nikolovski, focusing on current topics of business interest. In the lead-up to this meeting, a mini-survey had been circulated to Chamber members to identify the main problems they face and their needs regarding the improvement of the flow of goods and services.
