Establishing integrity systems in companies, aligning with international and EU standards, and implementing measures to prevent corruption and foster an ethical business environment were among the key topics of the Business Integrity training organized by the Chamber in Bitola. The event was part of the Citizens Against Corruption project, supported by the American people through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
The training was attended by 33 representatives from 28 different companies and industries based in Bitola. Participants had the opportunity to enhance their knowledge and familiarize themselves with best practices for introducing business integrity systems.
The sessions were led by experts from top-tier companies who shared real-world examples and methodologies for establishing transparency and corporate responsibility. The program included lectures and practical sessions on implementing ethical programs, risk management, and utilizing tools to combat corruption. Each participating company received a certificate of attendance and electronic materials with additional guidance on introducing integrity into their operations.
The training in Bitola is part of a series of activities organized by the Chamber in various cities across the country to encourage a culture of integrity within the private sector. These activities are aligned with the Chamber’s commitment to fostering business ethics, which provides significant benefits for companies, including increased trust from business partners, investors, and clients, as well as long-term sustainability and market success.
The Citizens Against Corruption program is led by the Macedonian Center for International Cooperation and supported by the American people through USAID. It is implemented by a consortium of diverse stakeholders, with the Chamber representing the private business sector.
