The promotional event “Solar Energy for Your Business” was held in the Shtip municipal hall, attended by companies from various industries, including manufacturing and textiles, as well as companies from the energy sector. The event was organized by the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia, with the support of the consulting team (adelphi, IPC, and iC consulenten) and the EIB7 credit line.
The event's goal was to encourage local businesses to transition to renewable energy sources, reducing their carbon footprint. Attendees had the chance to familiarize themselves with the latest photovoltaic and battery technologies available on the Macedonian market and exchange experiences with experts from the solar energy industry.
Prof. Dr. Kocho Angjushev, owner of Feroinvest, delivered a presentation on solar solutions tailored to the energy needs of companies. Participants asked questions and received answers on topics such as: “How to avoid typical mistakes when installing solar systems?”, “What is the best energy storage system?”, and “How to apply for financing through EIB7?”
The EIB7 credit line, implemented in cooperation with the Development Bank of North Macedonia and local commercial banks, is designed to improve energy efficiency and support renewable energy projects for micro, small, and medium-sized companies. EIB7 offers favorable financing conditions, including low-interest rates, grace periods, and long repayment terms. Interested companies can apply for financing through five partner banks: Komercijalna Banka, NLB Banka, ProCredit Banka, Stopanska Banka, and Sparkasse Bank.
The EIB7 credit line amounts to 100 million euros and is intended to reduce the carbon footprint and support small businesses in building resilience to climate change.
