Improving export performance requires coordinated cooperation between the Economic Chamber and state institutions, a clear division of roles, and adequate financial support.

Aneta Dimovska, M.Econ., project manager for export-related activities at the Economic Chamber, points out that as a small country with limited resources, North Macedonia must channel its capacities where they can deliver the best results. As an example, she points to the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, which, with government backing, conducts export promotion through a representative network spanning more than 100 countries.

Prof. Dr. Darko Lazarov, Vice Rector for Investments, Development, and Maintenance at Goce Delchev University in Shtip and President of the Exporters’ Club at the Chamber, highlights the Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina as an example of successful institutional cooperation.
