On 14 October 2026, the Agency for Innovation, Scientific and Technological Development, and Entrepreneurship (INOVA) held an information meeting at the Regional Chamber in Kichevo within the framework of the initiative supporting green businesses.

During the info session, INOVA representatives presented opportunities for utilizing non-refundable financial support for the implementation of international standards and certifications.

The support encompasses environmental, energy efficiency, and sustainable operations standards and certifications, including ISO 14001, ISO 50001, GLOBALG.A.P., and others. The call provides funding for up to 80% of eligible costs to support green businesses, including up to 150,000 denars for advisory services and up to 150,000 denars for independent certification.

Companies from Kichevo and vicinity had the opportunity to learn about the eligibility criteria and application procedures, as well as to receive direct information on leveraging financial assistance to enhance their operations and introduce sustainable business practices.

At the meeting, participants agreed to continue holding information sessions for upcoming calls in order to ensure greater accessibility for companies.
