Comprehensive gas network is of paramount importance for the economy, as it will provide a cheaper energy source and lower operating costs, alongside increased competitiveness on foreign markets—even though the current global landscape points to uncertainty in the natural gas supply chain. For now, progress is not keeping pace with initial plans or business needs.

The construction of a national gas pipeline system, its interconnection with regional pipeline networks, and the development of natural gas distribution systems are of an urgent nature. Particular emphasis must be placed on state-led initiatives to commission already completed pipeline sections so that companies can connect to them without delay.

To carry out the CONSTRUCTION OF NATIONWIDE GAS NETWORK project, the following steps are required:

1.     A national gas network construction strategy;

2.     Financial incentives;

3.     Infrastructure investments;

4.     Simplification of administrative procedures;

Education and a public awareness campaign highlighting lower energy costs, reduced emissions, and the overall safety of natural gas.
