The Economic Chamber of North Macedonia has launched a new project, “Chamber Talks,” initiated by the Chamber’s President, Branko Azeski.

The project is conceived as a short and dynamic video discussion format in which President Azeski addresses current topics of importance to the business community through conversations with Chamber employees and experts.

In the first edition of “Chamber Talks,” dedicated to the EU Growth Plan, Azeski is joined by Dr. Tatjana Shterjova-Dushkovska, Operations Director for Development, Innovation and Knowledge at the Economic Chamber, and Daniela Mihajlovska-Vasilevska, Advisor for Export Activities in the Office of the Chamber President.

During the talks, it was emphasized that within the framework of the so-called Reform Agenda, each country independently defines the steps required to meet the established criteria. For the Republic of North Macedonia, 134 reform measures have been envisaged, supported by a total allocation of approximately EUR 710 million.

As highlighted in the discussion, these funds do not constitute direct financial support for companies; rather, they are intended to improve the overall economic environment in the country, thereby creating better conditions for the growth and development of the business sector.

The participants also discussed available incentives and EU programs, the activities of the Western Balkans Six Chamber Investment Forum (WB6 CIF), economic relations with the Republic of Bulgaria, and cooperation with other countries across the region.
