The Construction Association welcomes the announcement by the Ministry of Transport that, after a long period of time, a domestic company will take the lead in the implementation of a major infrastructure project. This is a positive signal for the Macedonian construction sector and a confirmation that domestic companies possess the knowledge, capacity, and potential to deliver capital investments of national importance.

In the coming period, the Association will advocate even more intensively for greater involvement of Macedonian companies as direct contractors in such projects. It is precisely through direct participation that companies build references, strengthen their competitiveness, and secure the development and growth of the domestic construction industry, which represents one of the key drivers of the country's economic development and gross domestic product growth.

A great day for Macedonian construction—a step forward toward a stronger, more competitive, and more successful domestic construction industry.
