On 9 June 2026, the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia – Prilep Regional Chamber, in cooperation with the Public Revenue Office, successfully organized a workshop dedicated to the implementation of the e-invoicing system.

The event generated significant interest among the business community, with around thirty companies from the Prilep region participating through a total of 48 representatives. The workshop was organized with the aim of providing companies with additional information and practical support in the process of introducing and using the electronic invoicing system.

Representatives of the Public Revenue Office delivered a detailed presentation of the system, outlining its functionalities, benefits, and practical aspects of use. Special attention was given to testing various scenarios through the application, enabling participants to gain first-hand insight into the system’s operation and its application in day-to-day business activities. The event also presented the ongoing activities related to the implementation of the e-invoicing system, its processes, and the associated tax indicators. Particular emphasis was placed on the practical application of the solution and the challenges businesses face during its introduction.

As part of the workshop, an open discussion was held during which participants had the opportunity to ask questions, share their experiences and suggestions, and present the specific needs and challenges related to invoicing across different economic sectors. The discussion confirmed that the business community is actively preparing for the introduction of the e-invoicing system and demonstrates a high level of interest in the digitalization of business processes. The exchange of views and proposals contributed to a better understanding of companies’ needs and to the improvement of future activities related to the implementation of the project.

The Economic Chamber of North Macedonia – Prilep Regional Chamber will continue to serve as a partner and support mechanism for companies throughout the digital transformation process by organizing events, training sessions, and workshops that contribute to timely information sharing and successful adaptation to new technological solutions and legislation.
