An independent study conducted by the consulting firm Ernst & Young shows that, with a contribution of 1.4% to the gross domestic product, TITAN Usje plays a significant role in the development of the national economy. The company’s total impact on economic activity, through business operations, salaries, and taxes, amounted to more than MKD 10.3 billion last year. Direct fiscal revenues to the state budget reached MKD 515 million, while additional tax revenues were generated through suppliers, distributors, and construction companies across the country. The company provides 249 direct jobs and approximately 6,700 indirect jobs through suppliers, customers, and broader economic activity, representing roughly 1% of total employment in the country.
These are the key findings of the analysis of TITAN Usje’s socio-economic impact on the national economy and community development. The study offers a comprehensive assessment of the direct, indirect, and induced economic effects of the company’s operations and highlights TITAN Usje’s role as one of the most significant economic actors in the country.
“Care for people and the community is a fundamental principle of our vision. People and communities are the foundation of economic growth and sustainability. We are guided by these values in our operations because economic growth only has meaning if it benefits people and society as a whole. We are proud that this study confirms that our impact extends far beyond our direct operations, supporting businesses, jobs, and the broader community. We remain committed to creating long-term value through responsible business practices, investment, innovation, and sustainable development,” said Konstantinos Nikolaou, Chief Executive Officer of TITAN Usje.

“The Economic Chamber, and I personally as its President, have always advocated support for companies that contribute to socio-economic development. This is particularly true for companies with a decades-long tradition such as TITAN Usje, which has already marked 70 years of operation in the country and has made a substantial contribution to sustainable development. The study presented at the home of business sends a clear signal that the company is committed to operating while respecting social norms and sustainable development principles, and the Chamber is always here to help facilitate constructive dialogue based on facts and arguments,” said Chamber President Branko Azeski in his opening remarks.
In addition to economic indicators and fiscal effects, the study clearly highlights TITAN Usje’s commitment to people and the community. Total investments in community initiatives between 2021 and 2025 exceeded MKD 103 million. In 2025 alone, the company invested approximately MKD 30 million in socially responsible initiatives. These activities reached 37,000 people through environmental protection projects, educational development initiatives, and other socially beneficial programs. For 70 years, TITAN Usje has been an integral part of the Macedonian economy. The company plays a strategic role in the country’s development processes, and its products have been incorporated into bridges, roads, schools, hospitals, homes, and infrastructure projects that shape the daily life and development of the country. As part of the international TITAN Group, the company follows the latest sector trends and applies them in the domestic market.
Two years ago, TITAN Usje opened the educational center “Innovatorium – Club of Advanced Knowledge and Skills,” through which primary school students acquire practical knowledge and skills in 3D modelling, 3D printing, robotics, and engineering. Over the past two years, more than 500 students have participated in the center’s educational programs. Through its partnership program with schools and kindergartens in the municipalities of Kisela Voda and Aerodrom, the company has invested more than EUR 1 million since 2010 in improving educational infrastructure, energy efficiency, and safety conditions, benefiting more than 8,000 students.
The study also emphasizes the company’s achievements in sustainability. TITAN Usje holds the highest certification for implementing a sustainable waste management system—the Zero Waste to Landfill Platinum Certificate—and is the first company in the country to receive this Platinum recognition.
The socio-economic study was prepared using an internationally recognized input-output economic modeling methodology, based on data from the State Statistical Office and international economic standards.
