At the session held on 14 May 2026, the Association of Insurance Brokerage Companies elected Elena Todorova as the new President of the Association, following the expiration of the mandate of the previous leadership.

The program for the next two-year period envisions a strong, professional, and proactive association that actively protects the economic interests of every insurance broker in North Macedonia — through institutional strength, legal expertise, and unified action.

Under the motto “Stronger Brokers – Protected Profession – Better Market,” Todorova presented her program, which is based on the following pillars:

-       Protection of commission fees through requests for amendments to cooperation agreements with insurance companies.

-       Positioning the Association as a strong lobbying organization.

-       Establishment of a professional code of ethics.

-       Improving the market position of brokers and educating clients.

The new leadership will continue the activities carried out so far and will work toward elevating the Association’s operations to a higher level. The program begins with an action plan for the first 100 days.

Elena Todorova is an insurance broker with 21 years of practical experience. She has actively participated in the work of the Association for years and has been part of several previous leadership structures.
