The Executive Director of the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia, Antoni Peshev, MBA, together with Zoran Jovanovski, M.A., Vice President of the Chamber, held a meeting with Mr. Niko Berberu, M.Sc., Director of the Institute for Accreditation of the Republic of North Macedonia, and Biljana Stoilovska, President of the Council of the Institute. Employees from both institutions were also present at the meeting.

This meeting marked the first initiative toward establishing future cooperation between the two institutions, with the aim of enhancing the competitiveness of the Macedonian economy by increasing awareness of the importance of accreditation.

As the largest business association in the country, the Economic Chamber continuously works to improve the business climate and support companies in aligning with international standards.

It was emphasized that the Institute for Accreditation plays a key role in the quality assurance system for products and services. Through its activities, the Institute contributes to reducing trade barriers and facilitating the integration of Macedonian companies into international markets.

The meeting concluded with an agreement to explore opportunities for future cooperation through the organization of joint activities—info sessions that will help companies better understand accreditation procedures and take advantage of the benefits of establishing quality systems.
