The Vice President of the Economic Chamber, Dr. Marjan Bojadjiev, was part of a joint state and business delegation that completed a successful working visit to Šibenik, Croatia. The visit took place within the framework of the traditional manifestation "Days of Macedonian Culture 2026," organized by the non-governmental organization "Macedonian-Croatian Tangent." This year, the event was held in honor of a major milestone—the 35^th anniversary of the independence of the Macedonian state.

The delegation also included Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Zoran Dimitrovski, Ambassador to Zagreb Dragan Gjurchevski, and a group of prominent writers and publicists.

During the stay, several pivotal meetings were held focused on chamber activities and advancing bilateral business relations:

·       Business Mission Initiative: During a meeting at the Regional Chamber of Commerce with Acting President Josip Laća and Vice President Dejan Vapski, an agreement in principle was reached for a Croatian business delegation to visit Macedonia in March 2027, aimed at directly connecting interested companies and opening new economic opportunities.

·       Regional and Institutional Meetings: As part of the itinerary, the delegation held official meetings with the Mayor of Šibenik, Željko Burić, and the Prefect of Šibenik-Knin County, Paško Rakić. The meetings explored avenues for future cooperation and acknowledged the solidarity shown by the county, which was the first to donate relief funds to Kochani.

·       EU Prospects: During the visit to Pirovac, host Ivan Gulam—who also serves as Rapporteur for Macedonia in the European Committee of the Regions—announced an official working visit to Macedonia on November 4.

This jubilee visit reaffirmed the strong friendship and enduring ties between the two countries, laying a solid foundation for enhanced economic cooperation and renewed momentum in bilateral business relations.
