As part of his working visit to the Bitola region, following his meeting with the Mayor of the Municipality, Toni Konjanovski, President Azeski also visited companies that are members of the Chamber and, through their operations, contribute to the interests of the business community.
In discussions with company representatives, Azeski addressed their current situation and future business plans, as well as measures that the Government should undertake in the context of these complex economic developments, along with proposals for overcoming existing challenges.
At M Flex Mapet, a domestic company specializing in flexible packaging printing and high-quality flexographic roll printing for packaging, labels, and wrapping, the President of the Chamber was briefed on current operations. The company’s production is primarily intended for the food and chemical industries, both for the domestic market and export. Its mission is to combine advanced technology with expertise to deliver packaging solutions that differentiate brands. With many years of experience, the company ensures reliability, consistency, and attention to detail in every order.
The company Unlimited Coders, operating since 2016, directs its entire production to foreign markets, exporting to the EU and the United Kingdom. Its primary activity is the development of web applications, and it is a pioneer in transforming client ideas into high-quality products. The company offers full project management, from design to development, within defined timelines. The team consists of highly experienced developers, designers, project managers, QA specialists, and marketing experts. Since 2019, it has built a strong and high-quality development team, providing ICT services primarily in: web portals, WordPress solutions, mobile applications, game and character design, website maintenance, web design, video production, logo design, social media marketing, and SEO services. Currently, the company employs around 30 developers, designers, and instructors. It also operates an academy for language courses (English and German), software development, design, and human resources.
The company visits followed the previously held working meeting with the Mayor of the Municipality, which was also attended by the Management Board of the Regional Chamber Bitola, as part of the ECNM. The meeting focused on activities to be undertaken at the local level for economic development in the Bitola region, with particular emphasis on road and gas infrastructure as key priorities in support of businesses.
In terms of gas infrastructure construction, the primary gas pipeline Negotino–Bitola, with a length of 92 kilometers, has already been completed. The next step is to initiate the construction of the secondary distribution gas network within the city, for which the municipality has already prepared basic design documentation.
REK Bitola, as a key industrial infrastructure facility in the entire region, contributes approximately 65% of the country’s total electricity production. As of December 2025, around 120 private photovoltaic power plants have been installed within the territory of the Municipality of Bitola—some on company rooftops (below one megawatt), and others on land (also up to one megawatt). It is estimated that private investors have installed a total capacity of 35–45 megawatts in the Bitola region.
Workforce needs remain among the top priorities for businesses, with ongoing discussions and initiatives driven by the business community. Data show that approximately 4,000 students are enrolled in secondary schools in Bitola and the surrounding area, about half of whom attend vocational schools.
The Bitola region has around 5,000 legal entities and contributes between 9% and 10% to the country’s Gross Domestic Product. As part of Corridor 10, the region’s road and railway infrastructure is of essential importance, including the planned construction of the Prilep–Bitola motorway (40 kilometers) and the Bitola–Medjitlija bypass (19 kilometers).
